Youths Leadership Academy (YOLA)

The Youth Leadership Academy (YOLA) is a unique program tailored to invest in the next generation of world leaders especially in developing countries. According to recent reports 1 in 3 Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60% of Africa’s population is below the age of 35. Sadly, 75% of the world’s poorest countries are located in Africa. Socio-economic progress requires changes in mindset, policies, processes, systems and actions.

YOLA is a vehicle for personal and professional growth. It provides an opportunity for younger generations to make a difference in their communities. Empowering the youths to actively participate in the resolution of issues at the community, state or national levels will evoke a sense of ownership and responsibility, facilitate growth and bring progress to local communities around the world. CAGISC provides programs, events and resources that encourage youth leadership.
